This delicious strawberry flavoured gin cocktail is the perfect summer drink for those days when the sun is out. Super easy to make, ready in less than 5 minutes and refreshing and it tastes good virgin too.

I love myself an easy-peasy cocktail with minimum ingredients and a short prep time and it doesn’t get any easier than this strawberry gin fizz cocktail. With just 6 ingredients and ready in under 5 minutes, it makes the perfect cocktail whether you’re entertaining or just spending some time reading a book in your garden.
🥘 Ingredients
- Good quality gin
- Granulated sugar
- Lemonade
- Ice cubes
- Lime juice
- Strawberries
🔪 Instructions
- In a mix together the sugar and the lime juice.
- Muddle together with the top of a rolling pin until sugar dissolves.
- Add the strawberries and lightly muddle with end of the rolling pin. We want to release some of the colour and taste but keep them in one piece.
- Fill the glass with ice and add the gin.
- Pour lemonade into the glass and enjoy.
💭 Top tips
For extra taste try adding fresh mint when muddling the sugar and lime juice.
Refrigerate your glasses to keep your drink cold.
📖 Variations
The lemonade can be replaced with soda water.
If you like your cocktails extra sweet, increase the amount of sugar. If you do this youj’ll also need to increase the amount of lime juice to ensure the sugar dissolves.
Can it be made in advance?
Make ahead and just add the gin, ice and lemonade when you’re ready to serve.

- 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
- 2 tbsp lime juice
- 1 fresh strawberry sliced
- 3 ounces gin
- Lemonade
Instructions
- In a glass mix together the sugar and the lime juice.
